As I type this, it is pouring rain outside and Mathias is napping while Miriam is at preschool. Fall has officially arrived here in the Pacific Northwest...leaves changing colors, crisp foggy mornings, and lots of rain! We've recently been spending some time outdoors at the apple orchard and pumpkin patch, which has been a lot of fun. Miriam also took a field trip with her preschool class to a pumpkin patch, where she got to feed chickens, pick out a pumpkin and take a tractor ride. She loves to feed animals (which is a new, recent thing!) and she doesn't even mind if they eat out of her hands.
