Miriam, climbing in/on everything!

It has been a while since I've updated.  Summer is a busy time for us, and even more so since we've got a very exciting weekend coming up - Mario's older brother (TJ) is getting married!  We've also had family in town, staying with us (my parents, my aunt/uncle cousins) and are looking forward to more family arriving on Friday for the wedding. 

Miriam is loving our summer vacation (or so I'd love to believe), because she gets to spend a lot of time at the park, stay up later than normal, and spend a lot of time playing in water tables and her little pool!  Although she has my pale skin, it seems that she has Mario's genes for tanning easily, and she's got a little rosy glow on her cheeks, even though we slather her with sunblock regularly. 

The weather has been beautiful here the last couple weeks and we've certainly taken advantage, eating outside, playing outside, doing yard work, going for walks, spending a lot of time at the park.  The pacific northwest is a gorgeous place, but I believe it is never more beautiful than on a warm sunny day.  :)

Miriam has gotten caught climbing in and on lots of places lately, and we've been able to capture some of these escapades on camera.  I don't have time for much more of an update right now, but know that she keeps us (very) busy, is talking all the time, walking (speed walking/running, actually) all over the place, and is such a joy to be around!
