Our sweet girl is 9 months old today. She continues to be the amazing center of our lives, and constantly amuses us with her personality and her antics.
She's still slowly moving (crawling) around when she feels like it. I think she could move a bit faster, but she doesn't seem all that motivated to move quickly. Most of the time, she likes to sit in one general area and play with her toys. She claps her hands together, which is absolutely adorable. She smiles and laughs a lot during the day, and is constantly showing off her cute bottom two teeth.
Her latest favorite thing is "puffs". Last week, we bought her some sweet potato puffs that dissolve in her mouth. They are crunchy at first, so she usually bites them for a bit, and then swallows them once they dissolve. They are tiny (about the size of a cheerio). She looooooves them. She wasn't too sure about them at first, but after the first 5-10, she decided she loved them and started sucking the pieces off of her shirt that had fallen out of her mouth. :)
Miriam's personality is becoming more and more defined the older she gets. She is a happy baby, but definitely lets us know when she is bored or unhappy with something. She likes to have our attention and loves plastic cups, spoons, and the TV remote. She really loves to play "peek-a-boo" and creep around corners to "surprise" us. She's been sleeping really well lately, after a couple exhausted nights where we let her sleep with us so we could all recover from our colds. We are hoping she'll continue to be a good sleeper as we head to Germany in less than a week!
We've taken about 1,500 pictures in the recent weeks, and I haven't had time to go through all of them thoroughly, so here are just a couple. I'll do a long picture post in January when we get back from Germany.
