Miriam is 8.5 months old and starting to scoot all over the place. Her biggest incentive to move and scoot is the cat, but Bella knows to steer clear of Miriam and usually runs away before Miriam can reach her. Miriam has been sleeping rather poorly lately, which we think is due to a combination of sickness and teething. She's had a bit of a sniffly nose, along with some tender gums on the top. We suspect her top teeth (she's already got two on the bottom) will be breaking through in the next couple weeks!
Mario and I are both battling colds as well. It seems as though once his final test was done, exhaustion caught up with all of us and we haven't quite recovered yet. We had a great long weekend relaxing and spending time as a family. This weekend we've got our annual Christmas party, and in the coming weeks we have several more seasonal festivities and activities before we leave for Germany. December 17 is the day we fly - Miriam has her passport already, and I've started to set aside several new toys she can enjoy on the plane.
Recent pictures of Miriam...look carefully at the last picture. She's finally gotten enough hair (just on the top!) that I can use a tiny hair clip. :)
