10 month old Mathias!

Our energetic, food-loving, always moving little guy turned 10 months old last week.  Hard to believe we will soon be planning his birthday party and telling people we have a 1 year old!  He's a sweet guy and has really changed from the screamy baby he used to be!  He smiles and laughs a lot, waves "hi" and "bye" to people, always wants to eat whatever we are eating, loves to chase and play with balls, Bella (our cat), Miriam, and toys that pop up and down.  He sleeps pretty well, usually just waking up once per night, and is napping in his crib!  He's a "squirmy worm", as we call him, always on the move...whether trying to flip over during diaper changes, or crawl/scoot towards any open door he sees, or pull up on every piece of furniture imaginable...he's always on the go.  He recently decided to start loving baths and spends almost the whole time splashing the water fiercely with his hands.  We love having him in our lives and take advantage of the time when he's sleeping to snuggle him close....because when he's awake, he wants to be moving and going, not sitting in our laps!
