Our sweet, fun little boy is 11 months old, and it is hard to believe that he will soon be a year old! He is just a light in our lives, every day. We love him to bits and pieces, even when it seems like his sole purpose in life these days is to get into everything that we want him to stay out of. :) He loves to climb on top of everything, and in the last couple weeks has climbed up on his (small) table, Miriam's rocking chair, the deck and into the bathtub. He never stops moving and is always speed crawling or cruising on furniture. He loves to play with anything that Miriam is playing with, and he also loves to play with balls, roll cars around, and topple down towers and blocks. Mathias is a huge food eater, and will eat pretty much anything we put in front of him. His favorites include cheese, turkey, blueberries, corn, and avocado. He's sleeping slightly better these days, in his crib most nights and napping in his bed during the day. And he's such a happy guy - he's constantly smiling and laughing and showing us his "crinkle nose", which is a highlight of our day. He puts his hands up high to play "How big is Mathias?", gives us wet/sloppy kisses on our cheeks, puts his hand up for high fives, waves "hi" and "bye", says "Mama", "baba" (bottle), and "mamamamamama" (more).
