Miriam is such an independent walker and talker now. In the last week she's picked up 3 new words, and is learning all the time! I wanted to write down a record of what words she knows now, so here it goes:
"uh" - up
"ah duh" - all done
"wa" - water
"shhh" - shoe
"boo" - book
"nana" - banana
"baba" - bottle
"dada" - Daddy
"hi" - hi
"da" - that
"eesha" - kitty
"mama" - mama
"opa" - Opa
She also signs "milk" and "please". She can point to nose and tummy (usually on other people, not on herself). She's growing so much, and learning every day! She loves repetitive play, and remembers activities we did from one day to the next. She's a pretty independent little girl, and doesn't like to hold our hand when she's walking around, even when we are out and about. The only time she'll reach for our hand is when there are strangers around or if the ground is uneven and bumpy, and she doesn't feel comfortable walking by herself. Otherwise, she's always toddling off, wanting to walk around on her own.
No recent pictures, but I'll try to take some this weekend and post next week. Have a wonderful weekend!
